Publishing Ethics

Concetta Press is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing. The policies described below govern the editorial and publishing practices of all Concetta Press journals.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editors and Editorial Board members of each journal. Decisions regarding manuscript acceptance are based solely on scholarly merit, scientific validity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Peer Review

All research articles submitted to Concetta Press journals undergo peer review by qualified experts in the relevant field.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the interpretation of research findings.

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to study conception or design, data acquisition, analysis, interpretation, manuscript drafting, or meaningful intellectual revision. All authors must approve the final manuscript prior to publication.    Authorship standards

Artificial Intelligence and AI-Assisted Writing

Concetta Press recognizes that artificial intelligence tools may assist authors in editing or drafting text. Authors must disclose any use of AI systems used in preparing the manuscript. AI systems cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the content of their work.

Data Transparency and Reproducibility

Authors are encouraged to make underlying research data available whenever possible. Supporting datasets may be deposited in public repositories.

Plagiarism

Submitted manuscripts are expected to represent original work. Plagiarism, including duplication of previously published text without appropriate attribution, is not permitted.

Corrections and Retractions

If errors or concerns are identified after publication, Concetta Press will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when necessary to maintain the integrity of the scientific record.

Ethical Oversight

Research involving human subjects or animals must comply with relevant institutional and national ethical guidelines. Appropriate ethics approvals must be documented when required.
